AD(H)D – High Sensitivity Coaching
Learn to understand your unique brain better.
ADHD stands for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD often distinguishes between ADHD with hyperactivity (ADHD) and ADHD without hyperactivity, which is also referred to as ADD. The symptoms are often linked to children, but it is known that symptoms such as limited concentration, impulsivity and overactivity persist, even as adults.
AD(H)D is often accompanied by high sensitivity. No less than 5 to 10 percent of the general population appears to be highly sensitive. However, most people do not know this about themselves, just as in the case of AD(H)D. A highly sensitive person, or HSP, has a more sensitive nervous system and is therefore internally and externally more strongly stimulated than the average person. Neither high-sensitivity nor AD(H)D need be a problem if you know how to deal with it.
We will work with our solution-oriented, positive approach in three steps to increase your insight and get closer to your goal:
- Vergroten van je zelfbewustwording, beter voelen, ervaren en begrijpen wat er speelt in jouw brein
- Achieve your personal goals by developing competencies linked to your strengths.
- Stimulate a higher quality of life, a more pleasant life with yourself and your environment.
Not lazy, stupid or crazy
It is often a matter of understanding that your brain is unique, that it works in a specific way and that it learns to deal with it better. We start from a solution-oriented approach, i.e. looking at what works. We map out your strengths in order to bring your goals closer from there and will focus on learning to focus, better organising, action and planning and achievable dosage. You will see: neither highly sensitive nor AD(H)D need be a problem, if you know how to deal with it.
Understand yourself and deal with yourself better!
Are you often very tired? Are you motivated but find it difficult to take action? Do you have chaos in your head and clutter on your desk? Do you want it right away and you just can’t get out of the starting blocks and do you want to be part of it and not at all somewhere? You always have new projects that are difficult for you to complete? It’s high time to get to grips with this and to work out an action plan together with which you can get to work. Time for a new perspective for you on high-sensitivity or AD(H)D!
Highly sensitive, many intense stimuli, not obvious!
You feel many stimuli and much more intense than the average person and it takes you more time to process these stimuli. With eating and sleeping you will quickly get tangled up. You are afraid of rejection, often compare yourself with others and fight against negative thoughts and emotions. You take things personally, feel hurt quickly and you have trouble with critical feedback. Often you feel clumsy in group situations, make high demands on yourself and are afraid that you cannot meet either your own or the demands of others. Discuss the situation with someone who understands you and helps you to steer your great sensitivity and burden with attention.
